Custom Trek Ticket S 2015 and Review

Custom Trek Ticket S 2015 and Review

If you're new to the world of slopestyle mountain biking, prepare to be amazed. Ticket S are purpose-built machines designed to defy gravity, allowing riders to conquer massive jumps while executing mind-boggling spins, flips, and tricks that seem straight out of a video game. Trek's Ticket S, with its 100mm travel, has been specifically crafted for those gravity-defying moments, and it has been the bike of choice for renowned riders like Brandon Semenuk and Brett Rheeder, who have achieved podium finishes in high-profile competitions.

The Ticket S is available in a single large-sized frame, featuring a 22.1'' top tube length and a compact 13'' seat tube. Keep in mind that you'll need to assemble your own build, as the Ticket S is only sold as a frame (including the shock).

Ticket S:

• Intended use: Dirt Jump / Slopestyle

• Rear wheel travel: 100mm

• Wheel size: 26"

• Aluminum frame

• Active Braking Pivot suspension

• 12 x 142mm rear axle

• ISCG 05 chain guide tabs

Something to be aware of if you are owning a Trek Ticket for the first time and you are considering using some of the components from your DJ is that the most common hub is 135x10 mm bolt on. The Trek Ticket in both the hardtail and the S version, use a 12x142mm rear axle so there's no way to get an adaptor. You will need a new hub or a new wheel to match your new build.

Another important note, the fork if the steering tube is straight, it will need an adaptor as the Ticket S is one of the few that adapted tapered forks.

Last note, you need to stay on top of your pivot bolts. They come loose often and one of the things that you don't want to mess up with is your bike's mobility. That's the pro/con of slopestyle bikes, they come with more parts which means more maintenance but if you are willing to take care of them, they are amazing bikes.
